The sprint will be open only to junior team trials participants and will be organized by the Junior Team ESC. Recreational courses No recreational courses will be offered. Relay Race Information on registering relay teams is on the Classes and Rules page (towards the bottom). Competing as a Group Groups
of two or more will be permitted only on White, Yellow, and Orange
courses. For this event, unlike a QOC local event, group members should
register as individuals in either the M/F-White, M/F-Yellow, or
M/F-Orange class, then contact the registrar to communicate their
intention to orienteer as a group. Groups will not be eligible for
awards. Junior Dessert Social A dessert social event will be held on the evening of Saturday, April 13 starting at 8pm at the Calvary Baptist Church in Woodbridge, VA (street address is 15880 Crest Drive, Woodbridge, VA 22191). The available space, while
hopefully sufficient, isn't unlimited so this event will be open to
juniors and their coaches/other associated adults only. Tickets for this
event will cost $5 per person and will be sold as an optional item
during the Event Register online registration process. Child Care Child
Care will not be offered by QOC for this event. We will however honor
requests by parents and/or guardians for split start times to
accommodate child care needs. Orienteering Gear Vendors We
have reserved space at the Headquarters Hotel for orienteering vendors
to set-up sales booths. If you are a vendor, contact us to reserve your
space. You will be co-located with the Quantico Classic Registration
Desk and the OUSA Board Meeting. Due to competition venue restrictions
on outside sales, there will be no sales opportunities during the
competition. QOC is a non-federal entity. It is not part of the Department of Defense or any of its components and it has no governmental status. |
